Spencer Convenient Healthcare LLC is a medical clinic, opening November 2012, owned and operated by a Family Nurse Practitioner. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of the area population by providing accessible, affordable, high quality medical care for people of all ages. We are committed to providing services that will exceed the expectations of our patients, resulting in a successful and profitable business.
In order to meet the needs of the community and area population, we will provide medical care by appointment as well as walk in services with extended hours and weekend coverage. This clinic will help reduce the use of emergency services for non-emergent situations and prevent the drain on valuable resources. Our services will include treatments for minor illness and injury, wellness physicals and limited chronic disease management focusing on health promotion, wellness and disease prevention.
We are applying because there are many expenses involved with a private practice medical clinic. The starting costs, medical supplies, medical equipment, licensing fees and electronic health record requirements add up fast. If we were to win this money it would be used towards the purchase of patient education materials, equipment and supplies which are usually luxury items in a healthcare clinic. We have a dream of providing patients with as much ammunition and education as they desire so they can make well informed health care decisions. We want to enable patients to have a full understanding of their individual health situation and how they can do their part to prevent future illness, injury, and disease.
