Cool Catz Pottery Studio is a walk in paint-your-own-pottery studio. The studio offers a place for customer to create hand-painted pottery pieces, make fused glass projects, canvas painting, and clay hand-building. We offer classes for children, teens, and adults in these art mediums as well as summer camps for children ages 6 years and up. Our private party room is a great place to hold private events such as birthday parties, bridal showers, girl's nights, or any special gathering. Cool Catz also offers a Pottery-2-Go option for off-site events for busy customers who prefer to paint when it meets their schedule or for private events.

Cool Catz is applying for the Dream Big Grow Here contest in order to grow the business by increasing our glass offerings; adding a stationary potter's wheel for in-studio use; a portable wheels for home, school, or group rentals; and a small kiln to improve turn around time for glass projects. Expanding our glass line and adding pottery wheels is a natural extension to the services we currently offer but also helps us to meet the needs of our customers. We routinely receive request for a potter’s wheel or reqest for glass products we have not been able to offer. The Dream Big Grow Here grant would help us to grow our business and meet customer's request for advanced projects and services.

The studio would use the winning funds to purchase specialty glass; glass molds and tools for advanced projects, pottery wheels, a small glass kiln, and display shelving.
