An idea that was developed in a combat zone, not knowing if you'd make it back home, and validated back in the states, Military Cost Cutters is a platform that connects military friendly businesses with veterans and their families. This is accomplished through our user friendly website as well as our unique mobile apps for IOS and Android. Here the member will be able to locate, rate/comment, and upload military friendly business discounts for others to enjoy. We also offer a job employment page for those companies looking to hire veterans. Lastly, we believe in member interaction and as such provide a blog page for our community to communicate with each other. We believe in listening to our members and as such created very efficient mobile apps that lets the user have control over the validity of discounts as well as posting those that are not already listed.

We are applying because as a start up we lack the funding needed to compete on a larger scale and we appreciate all the support that local organizations give back such as this contest.

We would use the funding to purchase equipment for the production of our Military Cost Cutters veteran membership ID's as well as other functions of the business. This is quite unique and we would have these created and maintained in Iowa.
